The Reds had a mixed campaign last time out, but will be keen to add reinforcements as they aim to return to domestic dominance.
Champions League qualification was vital for Klopp as he aims to attract players on Merseyside.
And the German boss will hope the momentum of a strong end to the season can be carried into the next campaign after an unlikely third place league finish.
Ibrahima Konate has become the first Reds signing of the summer, while Gigi Wijnaldum is set to leave on a free transfer.
Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Liverpool transfer news…
Jurgen Klopp’s summer transfer budget
Liverpool’s budget for the rest of the summer window is set to be around £50m, according to ESPN.
Their transfer report suggests that sum could increase with further player sales as Klopp looks to shape a title-winning squad.
Konate’s addition from RB Leipzig is a huge coup with Liverpool solving one of their problem positions.
Virgil Van Dijk will return next season and could create a formidable defensive partnership with Konate.
And the remaining £50m could be used to bring in a new midfielder amid Wijnaldum’s imminent exit from the club.
But that midfielder won’t be reported target Borussia Monchengladbach’s Florian Neuhaus, who is instead said to be joining Bayern Munich in 2022.
Liverpool willing to sanction midfielder sale
Klopp will also be prioritising outgoings this summer and one player who is again being linked with an exit is Naby Keita.
ESPN‘s report adds that Keita could be offloaded to raise funds for other potential transfer targets.
Keita made just seven Premier League starts last term and has failed to make his mark at Anfield since his move from RB Leipzig.

The 26-year-old could be heading for the exit door as part of a number of outgoings as Klopp looks to be ruthless this summer.
It is also noted in the same report that Nat Phillips, Ben Davies and Joel Matip could be available ahead of the return of Klopp’s preferred central defenders.
Reds youngster eyed for loan move
Neco Williams is being eyed by a number of clubs ahead of a potential loan move.
That’s according to TeamTalk, who claim Liverpool are considering allowing the young right-back out on loan.
Their report suggests Premier League clubs Norwich and Burnley are both interested in the 20-year-old.
Williams is currently on international duty with Wales as he prepares for the European Championships.
That makes his future unlikely to be resolved until after his tournament finishes.
But he will not be short of suitors should a loan move be sanctioned with Welsh duo Swansea City and Cardiff City also among those said to be interested.
