Manchester United are set for a bumper summer as they look to reclaim their Premier League crown – as a decade approaches since United last finished top of the pile.

And, as with most summers, the Red Devils have been linked to a slew of world football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.

However, United’s pursuits of Ronaldo has taken a knock over recent days, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has other targets lined up for the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.

And Daily Star Sport has rounded up all the day’s transfer news, for United, into one article…

United want Harry Winks

Winks could leave Tottenham after falling out of favour

Harry Winks was once talked about as England’s next great midfielder, however, the 25-year-old only has nine Premier League starts to his name this season.

Despite this, according to reports, Winks could be ready to make the move up North for around £25million as a rotational player.

United were reliant on Scott McTominay and Fred last campaign and were then on the ice if one of the pair was injured. Winks could therefore help fill that void.

Kieran Trippier is keen on move

Trippier is keen on a move to United

Trippier was one of Gareth Southgate’s 2018 World Cup heroes, and his free-kick against Croatia still appears on social media.

The 30-year-old right-back won a La Liga title – with Atletico Madrid – last season, but he is reportedly open to a United move.

The Red Devils want to add depth to the right-hand side, and – it’s believed – that a fee of around £20million could convince Atletico to let him go.

Both Manchester clubs, City and United, have been warned that they can’t afford to sign Aston Villa’s star-man, Jack Grealish, this summer.

“Man City and Man United are the only ones that would go for him in the Premier League, but with COVID are these teams going to want to pay £100m or £130m?” Gabriel Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

United are keen on Grealish but face competition from their city rivals, according to reports.
